Flo Kasearu (b. 1985):
I work and live in Tallinn (Estonia) in Flo Kasearu House Museum.
The nature of my works is seasonal and explorative. Each project begins as an open-ended game. I value irony as much as aesthetics.
I am interested in working with private and public spaces, vertical vs horizontal relationships, monumental vs unstable, solo and collaborative.
So far I have played with private and public spaces, economic depression, patriotism and nationalism, endangered species, domestic violence, fears, control…
Since 2013 I am the director of Flo Kasearu House Museum.
